Tuesday's Tips!

Puffy Paint Socks!
Toddlers that like to run around the house in their socks may slip and fall on wood or vinyl floors. To keep them from slipping, apply puffy paint to the bottom of their clean socks. You can place a few drops at random, or try to make special patterns/shapes to tickle your toddler's fancy! Let the paint dry over night. (This is much cheaper than buying socks with tread already on them.) If your child is old enough, you can sit down to make socks together, or make them as party favors at sleepovers! Puffy paint can also be used to give traction back to footie PJs. Just choose a color to match!
This could also be a great Christmas gift idea for adults too!

Homemade Sugar Scrub
You know that expensive sugar scrub that makes your skin feel like silk? Mix: 1 cup Sugar, 3/4 cup Olive Oil, and 1 to 3 drops of your favorite scented oil. Works better than the expensive designer scrubs, and you already have the ingredients!  This would make a great, inexpensive Christmas gift!
