All-Purpose Cleaner:
Fill up a spray bottle with equal parts white vinegar and water. I use this all over my house. Just make sure to test it in a hidden spot if you're unsure of using it on certain surfaces. I clean my sinks, tubs, toilets and tile floors with this. I've heard that it isn't good to clean marble and wood with it.

Carpet Cleaner Solution (Steam):
1. Fill the soap compartment full of vinegar and then just fill the rest up with water. Cleans, disinfects and deodorizes leaving no soap scum behind!
I've also read where some people do this and add 1-2 drops of dish soap to the soap compartment. However, it's the filmy stuff in soap that doesn't rinse out of carpet well and attracts more dirt later on... so use your own discretion here.
***I actually did this a few weeks ago and had amazing results. My carpet was clean and very soft after using this formula. I'll definitely do this again!
Homemade Hair Detangler Spray:
1 Spray bottle
1 part conditioner (any brand) mixed with 9 parts warm water. Mix gently before using. We've had great results with this.

Spray Hair Gel:
1 cup hot water
1/2 teaspoon unflavored gelatin
3 drops of your favorite essential oil (optional)
Simply mix the ingredients in an empty spray bottle. Let sit for about 5 minutes, then you are ready to style. You can add a tiny bit more gelatin to make a stronger hold, but too much will clog your bottle. Store your gel in the refrigerator to keep it fresh.

Make a paste with vinegar and baking soda. Work paste into the carpet stain and let dry. When dry vacuum and stain should be gone. You may need to repeat this more than once!
