I don't see tons of fabulous deals at Aldi this week, but I am excited about a few produce items:
Lg. Cantaloupe $1.29 each
Strawberries .99 cents per 1 lb. pack
Mangoes .49 cents each
Avocadoes .49 cents each
Bananas .44 cents per lb. (I'm sure we can find this for less somewhere else...does anyone know where?)
Aldi's is also carrying some gardening items right now that are at a fairly decent price that you might want to check out in the weekly circular
If you've never shopped at Aldi here's some things you need to know:
- Bring a quarter with you to "rent" your shopping cart. You'll get your quarter back after you return your shopping cart. I always have a quarter in my car for this purpose! :)
- Bring cash or a debit card to make your purchases with. Most Aldi's do NOT accept credit cards.
- Bag your own groceries.
- Bring your own bags or boxes to load your groceries in. They do have bags for purchase at the register and sometimes there are empty boxes at the store you can use.
Almost forgot something....IF you're not happy with the produce one you get to Aldi take the ad to Walmart and see if they'll price match the ad.
